btw how/where were these amiga bbs ads spread back in the day?
surely/hopefully they weren't added to all archives that passed the bbs like was common in the pc scene? i ask because they are always so big.. this one is only an almost acceptable 16.5kb but many times they seem to be even bigger..
that amounts to quite a bit of bandwidth and storage over time, and people had slow modems and small hard drives.
at least i would have been pissed off with this kind of messing up my trading! thank god i was a pc user back then

*evil* dudes just put them into the archive so that you could have fun on the thing while having fun on the great stuff in there.
Instant flashback just from the screenshot.. Yeah...
the bbs ads where usually spread to other bbs as a normal upload or added to pack disks. This would not have been added to releases as they usually where dms files etc
oh and it was a good bbs
