I can't be bothered reading the scroll texts now but I seem to remember something about griff modifying the screen to fit it in 512kb memory so maybe that accounts for the lack of VU meters and sprites.
pete: the scrollers first admit it's a ripped picture, later on the pic is exchanged with the coder's attempt at a selfportrait. the waves are totally different, the font is also different.
