@TMB+ReeBoK: What was good at the time? Ok.. this was released one year earlier and did at least have more than 4 colors (even though the images were rehashes from earlier works) and music that didn't suck.
I can forgive the music in this one, but they obviously knew basics of the VDP since they managed to display anything at all, so the only conclusion I can draw from that is that they just didn't bother to create any nicer graphics.

anything was good at the time, because there were no documentations, no devkits, nothing, you had to find a way all by yourself.
And it's still ugly as hell. They could at least have showed a nicer logo...
to thumb down because of uglyness or because you dont like it is ok, but to say it was not good, is just wrong, i hope i cleared out any confusion now :)
