Ok. In fact since it's a firstie the demo design wasn't all that bad. Nicely incorporated elements and all but clearly it doesn't have anything either. cubes, blue, noise, some rotation... not much.
better than most of ours firstie.

Guys we should encurage new coders on the scene they are the scene's future dont be so hard.. Who knows he might win BP2011 or something but perhaps after reading your comments he decides to quit right now.. So what will it be? :)

made me smile, so must thumb up. sometimes a bit too headache-ish, though otherwise nicely done sync. it'd have been nicer if you had used a more decent effect for the syncs instead of the strandard cubetrails.

Nice, and not just because it's your first. Sound was a bit strange but it was in nice sync with the visuals so that was ok. It feelt like it was finished in a rush but if you take some time to make something longer and with more variation I think it will be really interesting.

weird soundtrack ;) i like that organic autechrish suspense, but the visuals are to generic for me and i think, symmetric objects rotating in the middle of a cube are obsolete by now! nice sync though... i would really like to see more generative audio in demos. do you use the glitch plugin, reaktor, max msp or your own synths? such effects in realtime would be great! the synth data could be freely used for sync/graphics at many stages of the audio pipeline resulting in much richer connection between sound and light than with a plain mp3...

Haven't heard that style of music for a while, and I quite liked it, so thumb up:

magic: he doesnt need first timer pats in the back, he needs someone to tell him one effect with some hacked up mindless syncs arent enough to make a decent demo. it needs cohesion or a concept, not hypnoglow crap. anyone can rotate cubes and flash the screen, you're supposed to do it in motif with the track.
...or at least elliminate the appearance of randomness

That was pretty awesome actually. I'm surprised. Sync was great, style was brutal. It's short and only one scene, but the graphics and sound are tightly coupled and complement one another well.
