This was one of the best demos at asm'01. Good shit.

well, i don't. this is quite boring, the poem annoys me. the graphics are ok though.

i was dissapointed.

and couldn't see the texts well from the bigscreen. :/

It's not an effects slideshow like flod said. And that's good. Some great ambiant stuff to be seen before going to bed, to make sweet dreams. It's very hypnotic, i enjoyed this prod' a lot.
Remember, a demo shouldnt only be oldschool or newschool effects with hype design and no story at all !

maybe i'll get more of it when i can read the texts properly. unfortunately i can't do it now.

Deserved a bit better than 14t or whatever it was it ended up at. Maybe people are just tired of Haujobb ending up in the top 3 at every party! :)
Anyway, I think the 'writer'-part was rather cool and well designed, but they should have mixed it up with more other parts instead of just letting it run on and on and on..

I was told that Haujobb is finally going to make an awesome prod. Obviously they didn't.

I still didn't quite made up my mind about this one (and that's a good thing if you ask me). stylish, well-synchronized, mesmerizing, but then again it's just some text, some pics and some scenes thrown together. all I can say is that this demo is a wicked and provoking one and deserves attention.. 'rulez' or 'sucks' - decide for yourselves.. 8]

It might not look like much if you see it just like that on a monitor.
But try it in the middle of the night, with all lights off, and headphones... concentrate on the evolving images, don't try to conciously read the texts, just let it all flow in through your senses. Suddenly you see it a hundred times better.

yeah, someone hyped about Haujobbs demo. This is a demostration of your skills? No way, you could have done much better. Boring.

Nice stuff, but suffers the "HJB-syndrome": Too many things on the screen at once, usually the least interesting at the front. I like it tho.

obviously visualice's biggest problem is getting some thoughts and ideas for his visuals. this endless (hard to read) poetry doesn't quite do the job.

I sort of agree with bhead (way up). It's too "weird/different" or whatever u wanna call it, for my tastes. It's either u like the style, or ya don't. Personally, I don't but i'll give it an "ok" for it's innovative parts

A disappointing effort for the leading scene group, but still among the best Asm 01 demos.

Nice presentation, banal concept.

Haujobb demos generally have a special brand of strangeness, unique atmosphere, great graphics, and decent coding, which makes them very likeable in my opinion. This particular demo has all of the above qualites, but next to nothing actually happens. Just watching the first 10 seconds gives a pretty accurate idea of what the entire demo is about.

I quite mysitcal demo..hehe. It did NOT deserve last place on ASM01!! (Was cool watching it on the big screen =D)

i never commented on one of my favourite t haujobb productions? would be even better if you could actually read the font... anyway - belongs to the most stylish and hypnotic demos ever.

It's something out of the ordinary and frankly, I like it. One of the coolest experiments out there.

The text was not intended as drug-propaganda. Inspired by Gilles Deleuze & my friendly neighbourhood alien mindcontrol. Written with cheap red wine on a cheap canon laptop. I've never even seen a friggin' "green pill"! Visualice, do I feel like Aldous Huxley here?! Is dis a system? I dunno.

i dont like this demo at all. it became very boring after seeing that blocky text and listening to some bassdrum trough the whole demo..

Boring as hell, if it wasn't for some of the 2D gfx, I'd rather thumb down this one.

well, it's haujobb, so of course it's good.. excellent mix of 2d graphics and effects with 3d.. the poem font is not unattractive, but too cheesy and doesn't fit the rest.. music's eerie and good - the beat gets monotonous, but there may be thematic reasons for that.. in regards to the content and some above comments, this didn't strike me a pro-drug.. in fact it seemed a commentary on society's need to encourage people to "blunt the edges" of reality to keep themselves in check (which i suppose is why the pill looks a lot like prozac)..

Goodness gracious! I just watched this demo again, and to my suprise, I love it! THis demo is absolutely hypnotic, and it must be watched in a dark room late at night for the full effect, with the music on full blast!
Kudos for the graphics too.

u take one routine and runs it like 90% of the time, and wht do u get? Boredom, actually this whole thing should last for about 30 secs and introduce the real demo which could have been, and get sum musicians damnit, this whole thing is about repeating and it sux bcause of it, nice try ill give ya thaht!

Especially hypnotic when one attempts to read the poem, reprogramms you via the up down and middle rhythm it drives your eyes to adopt. I just would have expected more from the gaps, a bit more voyage.

Utterly boring and annoying at the same time. "We have a textscreen which we have to show endlessly"... Despite the fact there are some nice gfx here, the thumb goes down without hesitation.

liked esp. the pic-bending part in the middle.. maybe its meant to be nicely trippy, i wouldnt look at it too often anyway, as it's soon getting boring.

The title was funny and the fading scenes well done. Visuals were okish, and music pretty repetitive. The weakest point in my opinion is the choice of font, which is terrible: it requires concentration to decipher fast enough, thus breaking all the pace.

I just like it, too tired to elaborate. Sort of messy but in aestheticall pleasing kind of way. Soundtrack is pretty simple but works.

Nice paintings but the constant flashing is distracting.
