One of my favorites from compo. Nice to see titan doing quality stuff. Graffiti writer was nice.

Not really a keeper. Quite gross, actually not even gross enough to be entertaining. And the soundtrack sounds like the stuff you'd do when trying to imitate dnb yet having no clue how to do it or not bothering enough.

The soundtrack sounded like it was sampled from a pre 1991 era wannabe hardcore junglist mix tape with piss poor lyrics slapped on top. The rest I thought nothing special of either.

guys, cool down. savas is actually a good rapper with mad flow. i don't give a shit if he's conceived sexist or whatever, it's just about using certain vocabulary to the extreme as an artform. but it's not even about that - i just wanted to do some in-your-face-jungle with a fitting acapella i had.
plus - i'm taking these lyrics as little serious from their narrative aspect as savas himself does. so, pixtur, concluding supposed sexual desperacy from this is really below your niveau.
these rappers use this vocabulary because they have exactly nothing to say, and still refuse to shut up. artform my ass :)

Yeah, visualwise it was not bad, and even the music by itself was okay, but the lyrics - RLY! dipswitch, I understand what you had in mind, but can't really take that as an excuse. Next time Hitler speeches "all jews must die" as an provokating "artform"? Or maybe choose bestiality-childporn glorification lyrics to really be sure the concept works? Maybe there should be some element which gives a clear hint certain other elements are not meant plainly. Everything besides the lyrics seemed quite serious, so there simply was no hint.

And dipswitch, you find yourself in the defending Savas position simply because you used his lyrics and the demo even has the same title as his song, so this seemed to be intended to be the central theme. If I had chosen to incorporate a swastika in one of my gfx (because I actually found it to be a strong, visually interesting icon), I also had to explain myself, I guess... :)

scamp: read above. it is NOT MASTERED AT ALL. it's an .xm without ANY postprocessing. and it's old, i do postprocess my tracks nowadays. check my evoke mp3 entry for comparison.

scamp: For me at least it's not that I was offended (an emotional reaction). It really leaves me quite cold. I rather criticize it rationally. You already talk about "more" should be needed to cause controversy. This is what I talked about above: Once the "how low can you go" competition is started, we quickly reach even worse grounds like the examples I stated. And not everyone will instantly and automatically understand how it's meant, not everyone knows the creators and can judge it by seeing they're not really assholes. With something like this, please make sure the production is easily recognizable as a joke production, which was not the case here. I'm sure many people watching this will think you want to propagandize your real mentality.

OK the visuals and style were pretty nice here, but as said before the music is just to forget.The greetings part could have been a nice break, but it was just too long and as a consequence, quite boring. So this deserves something between a piggie and a thumbdown, but as I'm in a good mood today, let's go for the pigface.

If many people don't get it and you somehow want to communicate a message, it seems there is still some need for explanation. Besides, complaining about "insulting" when misunderstood and at the same time "innocently" (or naively?) releasing a demo with a statement which I could hardly sort out other than as extremely insulting to women, that's quite an irony. :)

Teh, we watched this over a couple of beers tonight (along with the rest of the Evoke demos) and it was a decent enough watch.
And dipswitch - I didn't understand a word of those lyrics - but the music was fuckin jungle massive awesome and we cranked it right up. :-D Although maybe could have been more dirty ;-) Amen!
