it uses SCONS to build (www.scons.org), but that should not be a real problem. The main problems i had during porting were with ImageMagick. I would rather get rid of that whole library, but I need it for png/jpeg loading at the moment.

Nice. If compiling, make sure you use the real ImageMagick rather than GraphicsMagick. (with GraphicsMagick it compiled and ran for me, but with bugs)
