Haha, while preparing the prod I really thought of posting "No need for a thumb down dipswitch." Maybe I should've done it. ;)

No downthumbing from me because they are a local Dresden-based group who found out about the scene while coding on their 3d-engine.
hehe okay

While I'm tempted to thumb up I'm somewhat suspicious as to how its generated... I've got this deep dark feeling in my gut that something here was prerendered...

On the other hand I won't thumb down because I have another deep dark feeling in my butt that someone went through a lot of trouble createing an engine to render video data to ascii which can be played back.

Way to leave me guessing.
This sucks. Trixter's 8088 Corruption puts this thing to shame, and that runs on a 4.77MHz PC under DOS!

Not only is the rendering poor on this, it has also been done several times before in ASCII much more effectively. Using AA-lib, someone has rendering the entire Matrix film to a DVD-quality MPEG which fits perfectly on a DVD5 DVD-R.

I highly recommend checking it out before it "disappears" due to attention from the MPAA:

Very impressive. This is not.
