I liked the flower-models.. the idea isnt that bad either and execution is ok..
good materials, nice shadows, both nice and not-so-nice 3d models. since it's your first demo, my personal hints: 1) effects :) 2) "demo-like" music 3) not just flyby (look hint #1)

Flyby. And not an especially good one either.. Please, include effects in your productions and most people will like them better :)

MaidenMann, I got it allright (and I'm the sort of guy who spends time in art galleries), I just didn't think it was particularly entertaining. But I must admit, I've watched this three times now and it has grown on me. The modelling on the flowers is great and small glitches in detail have stopped bothering me.. I wish I could give it a piggy instead, with a pat on the back.
Excellent first production. So it's a flybye. Flower models were excellent; Van Gogh Sunflowers kicked total ass. Flying about was a bit too fast for my liking, and I wish it could have gone into many, many more of the pix; but, hey. Looking forward to your next prod.
Hmmm... The music is very boring and the fly-by in the room too. Claps for the modeller, those flowers are soooo good ! Adding some bee or flys can improve the static look of the demo. Btw. great work, but i think it's just good and not rules...
Well, you could specify the 'flowers' word :) there is two different kind the sunflowers and the rose-like ones (modelled by different modellers)

good idea ... focusing on one painting with better modeling would have been better IMHO - music was too normal

Well done. The conception is, for sure, nothing new, though classics never get old. Engine showed a couple of solid features. BUT:
You overplayed with specular on paintings (way too plastic, doesn't bring the feeling of the original canvas) and most of other objects.
Don't feel like modelling girl's face was really needed (bit too primitive).
Certian camera movements were damn jerky.
Also thanks for Van Gough's "Sunflowers", but still didn't get the original impression of the sun light. I assume that's good for your ears ;)
So keep on making demos and you'll beat Gargaj ;D
