Really impressive hardcore coding: the routine displays 640x400 images with up to 14,000 colours on STE machines using a blend of techniques (midres, palette/scanline interlace and blitter palette-shiftings).

Excellent idea with medres multicolour mode. Strange that nobody thought about it earlier.
About the method; this version doesn't use blitter for colour palette switching, a newer updated version will however.

I'll give it a rulez without seeing it, because I love this kind of hardware pushing! I'm an Amiga scener, but I like Atari demos, too :) I'll have to dig out my 1040 and give some a try on the real thing some day ;-)

Never worked on my 4 MB STe. It comes as far as the raster logo, then just sits there.

Merci beaucoup, C-rem.
Get the original version on atari-ste.com - it is without any folders!!! The version here and on the DHS site is with folder, but it was released without.
