this is 0% as ordinary dxm.. but i guess you call all good productions for dxm stuff :)
it shows that there is more serious effort put into this intro than other dxm intros... some of the stuff actually looks good, and it has little to do with its predecessors in the misfit series... and I'm not saying this only because I had the strange experience of seeing stefan working on it.. saying things like "maybe I should adjust the colors a bit" or "maybe it will look better if i toggle the flashing of the top thingy and the bottom on" and fixing little details all the time... (this is a rare experience indeed compared to the usual one... "maybe I should just show random effects each frame?" or "fuck! The colors aren't 0xff00ff enough" ;)

got: well it has 2 parts (1: gf3/g4 or worse: you get to see really really really ugly piece of shit, 2: you run it on fx/radeon9500 or better card, and you will see it look correctly... but with like reeeeeaaallllyyyyy poor framerate.. i blame matrox for this , they have to speedy vertexshader units :)

i know have a working executable that runs smooth on prety much all carsd (gf4+) and that looks "ok" on gf4 (still needs 2.0 shaders to look correct tho)

not all of d3d, but your device wrapper should be relatively easily ported to opengl.. :)

gammawave: hmm, not everything runs thro the wrapped d3d device.. but ofcourse it could.. however.. i doubt it would be a 64k if you need to wrap up whats in the d3ddevice with opengl... but.. sure.. gimme your email and ill zip my shit up for you =)

Looks nice enough for me. Runs too slow in scroller part tho, and probably looks nothing like what it's supposed to.
