I always loved these colorful cracktros...:)
...memories.....:)
...has a nice zik, I especially like the mid-part...credits don`t mention the author of the tune or is Corsair the author?

Tune was composed by Allister Brimble if memory serves me right.

Allister Brimble?? But he wasn`t really involved in the scene, wasn`t he? So I assume Corsair borrowed his tune from somewhere?

That tune is a cover from Rob Hubbard's Saboteur II song. Brimble probably released on a song disk with many other free tunes.

The tune is called "Labello" and is in the well known BP format (8822 bytes).

Complete tune overview:

Song name: "labello"
Author: Allister Brimble
Format: Brian Postmas Soundmon (.bp)

Original artist: Rob Hubbard
Original song name: Saboteur II (title music)
Original format: C64-sid

(checked it, and it`s a match, its the Saboteur tune)^^

Anything missing?

The knowledge of the scene folks (in terms of scene things) is always astounding, (Not kidding).
Ask anything (what tune is that e.g.) and someone will know it. :)

Allister Brimble released a music disc with more that 10 BP tunes. AfaIr all of them were in an executable format, but not too hard to rip and re-use, in those days, in the crack intros. Labello, Neverending, Commando main theme and hi-score tune to name just few. They were small and sounded wonderful (and still do).

So, where is that music disc? :)
Add it to pouet if you have it, would you? :)
added on the 2010-03-12 00:13:03 by Skyrunner Skyrunner
Oh man.... I would do it with pleasure but I have it somewhere, I suppose among my old 3,5'' FDs. I hardly remember the name.
If I remember correctly, It was not even a full disc, if we can say so. A simple CLI menu.

There is one small thing:
I do not have any possibility to check it nor, I do not even mention, to transfer it to ADF file.

Sim, seems like hitchhikr solved the problem :)
Got the file, it works, and the tracks are nice :)
thx hitchhikr

Now, add them to pouet.

Me? I can do it, sure. No time now, going to sleep but I will do it at a later time today...unless someone is faster earning the glöps.

Good old styled-intro.
A that time, my brother (Corsair) and I were big fans of Allister Brimble tunes so it was an honor to use his work in little production such as this one.
