Nice transfer of STE fullscreen to STFM. A nice packed intro all round too.

What Optimus said! And overall it's a great production with a real pleasure to watch.

Now this is very impressive, not to dream of in the old school area. And also in the recent years I haven't seen stuff like this on ST (that astronaut part!), not to speak of fullscreen and with such a color range. Impressive the level ST and STE demos have reached by now. Good you hint to the fullscreen issue in such a creative way (the beginning). Love the little melody of the track too, keep them coming Yerz :)

Wow!

The astronaut part is wild for an STf. I only watched the video and kept thinking this was an STe intro.

p01: I've not checked the code, so I may be wrong, but the way I would have done it is to draw variable thickness patterns using the 16 colors repetitively over a multiple-screen tall area, then use sync-scrolling to smooth scroll over the picture.

Then use one palette change every scan-line (or every time a new picture "pixel" row starts) to draw the little character.

Same thing as the moving backgrounds/patterns in the mega-scrollers screens.

Yup this feels a lot like a patterns scroller.

Also the astronaut doesn't change color across the Y axis, only the background which uses ~8 colors. I didn't pay enough attention to the curve in the astronaut part, and didn't see obvious signs of scrolling along a static image like in the "twister".

Now that I actually know a bit about ST/STE coding I can say that this is some impressive stuff!
Everything full screen, and a lot of stuff that I guess also must use some kind of hardware trickery since it is only possible on a plain ST to rewrite bitplane pointers to 256-byte aligned values (unlike on the STE).

One of my most loved intros on the ST. This one is full of creativity and perfect execution. The fullscreen-announcer is simply epic.
