nice but slow
Yep, for my taste a bit slow. But the rest is very well done (for .js).
no high end hw here at all :D so some video with nice framerate would me much appreciated (=
Pretty good.
Yep, slow, but somehow I find this hilarious with the coder colors and buzzing sound :)
Too slow for what it is.
Just had a super quick look at the code.
Oy! I lost count of how many times you switch between using the 2D context and the ImageData. Stick to your guns! For this kind of render I would definitely precalc the "snake" thing ( you could precalc it for each rotation with the R & B components and add the G one in ctx.globalCompositeOperation="lighter" ) and the colorful string of the scroll text into another Canvas and turn this all into a 1000 ctx.drawImage(precalcCtx,...) party.
I like the idea of the two Audio elements and setting their src to b+p+p+p+p+p+p+p... :)
Thanks for the credits/greets!

Runs pretty slow at my place but it looks decent on high-end hw.
Full commented version included in the ZIP in case you want to know how it's done exactly. Also if you have any tips & tricks to improve the code I'd be happy to hear them :)
