ported from this.

Demo will run on unexpanded Atari XL/XE, but extended memory is required to see last scene and end scroller

Fantastic!

Although I always appreciate original work, this is a very solid port. Well done :)

Nice one, good gfx, msx too (but only in credits). About enigne 3D: almost no spots with poor framerate. Way better then your last stuff - sv2010 invintro. Only last part is too jerky. Translucent and lighted objects are fast and looks good. Fine colors choice. Ooz gfx as always good, probably first unorginal, repixeled gfx from him - and very well done. Miker music in credits outstading, main tune is little pokeyish.
Overall good demo! Thumbs Up!

Hi Probe! Cool that it's released finally. Excellent job! When Grey told me, "We probably have at least one other entry - it'll be from La Resistance" my only thought was: "OK, then it's no use to submit something, at least not if it contains vectors". Obviously I was right, since this one rules so much running on 64k. The color choice is very nice, like in 48h. Graphics 10 is the new graphics 9 - perfect choice for the solid vector objects.

Wow! Just plain wow!
Rock solid fluent filled vector 3D, spiced up by some nice additional effects, beautifully arranged in between. Too bad the music can't quite keep up, but i suppose a "lossless" port of the original track to the Pokey couldn't have been expected either.
Excellent port.

Gr.10 is a very nice choice. But, if graphics use greyshades only, gr. 9 is still the better solution. This one surely deserves a thumb up.

Oh yeah, this one was cool. Bonuspoints for working (at least partially) on an unexpanded machine. The music was also surprisingly good.

Watched it again with the Amiga original side by side and I'm amazed with the quality of this remake, almost everything from the original scenes made it to this demo in freakin awesome framerate! Also second thumb up for excellent graphics redraws and kicking music.

demo shock to the demo scene :).. absolutely superb. only the music is a bit too much for my ears. But I guess its that way closer to the original.

there is no doubt, this demo sets a new 3d standard on the 8bit atari. absolutely cool.

Amazing production on such an ancient silicon!! My deepest gratulacje for you panowie! Wspaniala robota!!

Respect to the french fellows for very good Amiga demo!! I got impression that Claws was, in some parts, influenced by Lacity's Desert Dream soundtrack.

Once again, Atari scene shows it's still kicking. This is one superb prod. I'm really impressed with the fast 3D. The only downside is the music. I love the sound of Pokey, but this is a bit busy for my taste, though a nice conversion of the original tune.

Nice, great work on the graphics. The 3D scenes are unique on Atari8.

what's been said
I am wondering, are the 3d scenes realtime, animation or mix of realtime and animation? At first I liked this one but wasn't impressed because I thought it was an animated sequence of the original demo but now I think I have truly be mistaken. We have seen good 3d in atari and I think it's possible, also when there are more stuff things slow down so it might be realtime engine. Wow!
