Party production, works great with the universal "drink when you see a tunnel-effect" rule!

MOAR TUNNEL-DRINKING
TUNNEL !!!!
Fuck yeah Mac!
It was originally intended only for Mac, but we had no way of connecting the mac to the projector - we solved that by porting it to Windows :)
Tunnels, ducks, awesome gfx and even nice beats!
(My opinion might be colored from the tunnel boozing, though... )

nice little party prod! nice work bstrrrrrr =)
and the demo was subsequently run in WINE :) brave new world eh?
runs on my macmini with gma950. Thnx.
Speed tunnels and a picture I didn't quite get time to see. More picture would have been good :)
psonice: pic can be found here: http://sentient.skjoldbroder.dk
Ah, thanks. It's a good pic too, it should definitely be shown for longer :D
12.5MB for a single, rather unimpressive effect and some logos ... No thanks. Might be working at a party, doesn't work elsewhere.
Paranoid, yeah maybe I should have split the two versions (osx/win) into two archives :)
bstrr: The OSX binary alone is 12.6MB and it's not even universal...
Okayish party prod, will give a thumb for the nice typography/calligraphy and the solar city pic, which was shown WAY TOO SHORT!
Well presented tunnels. Oh and a picture but fuck that, apparently.
"Bus Error"
MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo - OSX 10.4.11, RadeonX1600

Paranoid, oh yeah so it is! I probably messed up when including the frameworks .. :/
ps, It was developed on 10.5.x so it's probably related to that and to me not being an elite OSX-coder yet :D

Insectecutor: glad you approve :)
PS: are you running a G4/G5 mac, or why the Tiger?
bstrr: yes, its probably a leopard only issue. i think you can recompile with some flags for it being universal, more tricky if you use leopard only libs.
farfar: i just didnt want to pay for the OS update.
farfar: i just didnt want to pay for the OS update.
ps: me neither, but I just pirated it ^_^ (well initially I did, but I got a new MBP since then, so it came with the machine)
bstrr: depending on what language/compiler/linker are you using, some flags like
the demo is extremely simple but fun, so here is the thumb
Code:
should solve the tiger/leopard issue. (it was not so easy in my case, had to recompile the language runtime too with these options...)-mmacosx-version-min=10.4 -Wl,-syslibroot -Wl,/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/ -Wl,-macosx_version_min -Wl,10.4 -mmacosx-version-min=10.4 -F/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks

blala, cheers - it was built using eclipse/gcc. I haven't installed the Tiger libraries, but atleast that part should be simple to fix :)
I have not idea how to build for ppc when using eclipse, but maybe google can educate me as usual.

the tiger libraries are installed by default, i think. at least i haven't installed anything :) no idea about ppc, the compiler i use (ghc) is not a cross compiler :( but probably there is a gcc flag to force universal binaries
blala, ok - maybe the option in the installer was for the panther libs.. i'm not entirely sure :D
nothing spectacular, but I bet it was good fun at the party :)
farfar: i want to keep this a warez free machine. think i'm gonna just install linux instead. tired of all this OS upgrade extorsion for proper updates bullshit.
bstrr: let me know when you got something i can test :)

ps: makes sense :) In all fairness, I only pirated it because my Leopard update didn't work very well. (plus I thought it was unreasonable that I had to install the OS twice, effectively)
- however, you should really get Leopard! It's good. ^^

Nice-looking tunnels.
what Paranoid said.
Yay osx yay! Yay tunneldrinking yay!
Yay for OS X. However doesn't work with 10.6 (10a421a). It's not out yet tho, so i'll let that pass.
I can't believe that in this day and age where we have uberfast internet connections, that people are complaining about a 12.5MB download.
I also find it rather humorous that some of the mac people can't get it working, yet it was designed for that OS originally. And my linux machine ran it via wine, absolutely flawlessly. :D
I loved the music and the sync with the visuals. What more can you do with 1 effect? For a party prod, it was a really, really nice effort. Thanks to bstrr and farfar for taking the time to make this!

tunnel!!
malodix: actually i didnt even try running it under wine, despite having it installed on the mac. it doesnt make much conceptual sense to try to make the windows port of a demo run under wine in a mac when there is a mac version available in the first place... its just a bitch about the whole ppc vs intel and tiger vs leopard idiocy. apple is the new windows -_- i should really go linux
Hurr! ... rrr!

Malodix, i am not complaining and i don't mind the downloading time. But from a demo weighing 12.6MB, i expect rich and extensive visuals, an impressive soundtrack and a huge amount of neat effects. This one has neither.
And even though i understand it wasn't intended to be this big, i can't call it a "solid 64k-tro" - which it would have been - if it's 200 times the size.
tunnel with sync!
Paranoid: you're quite right to expect all those things with that file size, but the two words are "party production" :)
the black loonies!
Not really my cup of tea but not bad. Nice sync. :)
.
ööööö
okish
good one
not enough dying people nor tunnels and bass .. poor knowledge about tunneldrinking shown from the creators right there ...
.. og så er i grimme
.. og så er i grimme
12 mb is too much
warg: du får strøm!
wuf: du får strømper!
I like.
k
Really digging it, just wish there was more of it.
Short...
:|
nice endpic
mmm, now works on iPhone as well.. I wonder if I should submit it to the AppStore :D
More BASS please.
Tunnels are ace but i felt like i wanted them on the screen more to appreciate them before they wizzed off lol. A nice little demo. Only bad point was the resolution and the lacking wide screen on my iMac. Otherwise, I liked it.
