what bothers me in the credits is "music: ripped from amiga". if you don't know who made the music, don't use it. this kind of discrediting of authors just fuels the fire for all the keygen lamers who think the groups that use ancient chiptunes actually made the tunes themselves.

the main villain seems to be this lame website that's spawned some youtube videos. the most hilarious "keygen music videos" are the ones that recycle old amiga tunes with all the classic crappy samples, such as these videos.

oh, and frankieghost could be credited for the font as well.

I still think this (almost 8 years old) SR logo is cool even if the idea isn't so original. Can't watch the intro atm so it's a piggy for now. EVERYTHING seems to be recycled anyway if the music is ripped too.

indeed, this cracktro made me actually look up the game (and taking a shower after watching the screenshots of it.. man that looked awfull and i felt violated) ... for the cracktro itself, i tried to like it but i absolutely hate the logo as it looks like a cheap knockoff instead of a tribute to- logo..yuck.

nah kolor never cracked any games? so what! you (resp. your group) supported the cracking scene by producing an intro which apparently was (supposed to be) used in front of cracked games, so where's the difference? either you support the illegal scene or you don't. but thumbing down this intro just because nah kolor people were involved in producing the game is, well, hypocrisy! not more, not less.

the jim power logo actually was inspired by the j.o.e logo, the artist even said so in an interview in a german computer mag once

good logo :) rest is in my opinion for pc and nowadays technics to oldschool... i miss the love in details and making own fonts and tunes.

This isn't even badskool anymore, it's cancerskool. I seriously suggest you learn about a fantastic invention called a "timer" that was invented about 20 years ago or so.

guys, i won't open yet another thread about cracktros but seriously : if you were a teenager nowadays (i know, most of you are 25+,some 40) and never had seen any oldschool cracktro, wouldn't you be impressed by such digital graffiti and say "wooh i want to be part of this!" ? :P

now... i wish current cracktromakers would be more creative :>

well, I've seen some nice/creative recent "cracktros". I can't name any off hand, but I believe ppl like Hoodlum, Titan and some others produce nice stuff.

the basic format of a cracktro is fantastic, nice, single scene, quick and easy to produce.

but yeh, stuff like this doesn't do the cracktro format justice. but i still like that logo! :)

Too much uncredited ripoff (esp. design, music & font) and 250Kb... the orignal cracktro on Amiga is 14kb. No timing problem here however, it's running ok.

I miss the Hoodlum's cracktros by Hitchhikr :)

id say the design is so generic that you cant really tell 1000 different of these intros apart if it werent for the track/text/logo

Looking at this cracktro and its logo ( looks like cheap PhotoShop & text extrusion to me )... NO! I don't think so. Now, that would be a different story if you did show me any half decent 64kb or 4kb intro.
