I haven't had time to read many articles yet, but I have to say the graphics were beautiful. I didn't enjoy the music as much as with some previous issues, but the rest pretty much makes up for it. Adok has again done a _huge_ job, so thumbs for the great work. (I couldn't find my third article, one about games and real life, anywhere, but maybe I just mislooked.) Somehow it seems this issue takes up more memory than the previous ones, but it may be just my imagination.

ok, we have ....
some old tunes, some old gfx, nothing funny to read just a bunch of ojuice collected news.. how original..

time to rate up ojuice and pouet and rate down lousy-unmodern diskmags (tho i tend to still read pain;)

the good thing about diskmags is that they have editors who filter out people like you, stefan :)

i used to read hugi last time like X years ago, as it was called hugendubelexpress and was a really really lame mag. now i thought it got better, and yeah, it partially got... but only partially.

what i really appreciate are those detailed music tutorials, written by people who seem to have a clue of REAL music theory - i could have needed such tutorials as i started tracking 5 years ago...

the news section is a joke - none of this news are so brandnew that one hasn't read them on ojuice or some other sites. where's the point ? diskmags like jurassic pack bring really EXCLUSIVE news, but whats the point of just getting some stuff from the web ?

another thing that already annoyed me in old hugendubelexpress is that whole "reallife" stuff. come on, keep things divided ! i dont need reallife stuff in a mag that tries to be about demoscene - i have my reallife already so i get my reallife stuff in actual reallife.

the music is actually poor aswell, at least the regular one. sounds like cheap roleplaygame music. i would like to hear the hidden stuff, as zalza's chippies pretty rule - but i have no patience to search for hidden parts in a mag that doesn't really convince me.

all in all, here you go with an old hugi reader from the bbs scene days who found it lame back then and hoped they would improve. this hope now got crushed finally. of course, adok is doing huge work, perhaps i should give him respect for that, but whats the point if it's already over 4 years and the mag isnt still much better when it comes to contents.

and stefan, just because hugi "sucks" it doesnt mean diskmags suck. you just showing your disrespective attitude again to show how "cool" it is to be "newschool". pretty poor imho.

big up the great diskmags which are still active ! ARACHNOPHOBIA, JURASSIC PACK, SUBLIMINAL EXTACY, SHOWTIME, PAIN for sure... i am looking forward to the new WORLD CHARTS, such a powerful collaboration of scene giants like silents, scoopex and hoodlum can't do nothing wrong. but time will tell...

Some nice articles, but the music and gfx were mostly pretty bad :/

...but for the thing itself.

i vote sucks because i was deleting this about 10 minutes after first starting it. adok (or whoever) wrote 100% bullshit in the news-part about farbrausch.
people who have no clue shouldn't write.

I still haven't seen the mag itself, but I spot a Magic card ripped in the picture here...

i must change my comment, after reading this mag. one thumb up, one thumb down. The articles are sometimes very bad. Hugi - What did happened to you?

Not so much to read, but I like the tutorial part + nice graphic + nice music.

Not so much mags on PC nowadays so Adok gets a thumb up for still keeping it going.

The scene content, enthusiasm and overall character is severely lacking.

Some pleasant graphics and one nice mod, but the general content is way too trite and trivial to serve any purpose.

yeah, I liked it.. how about all those giving Hugi negative comments come out with some more "interesting" and "truthful".. there's not that many people doing diskmags anymore, cheers to adok for putting out such an interesting read. :)

well there's not much of diskmags around anymore but i don't see any reason for releasing anything that isn't really enjoyable. hugi #25 was depressing to read. some of the past issues (around 20) had some articles that kept me reading the mag for a quite log time but now there was really nothing that could've kept my interest for a longer time.

so where's the problem? i have too short attention span? all those articles are just too lame? perhaps a bit of both, but it really seems that diskmag scene is nowadays quite dead... unfortunately.

and after all, i can't thumb this down either since there was clearly much of work involved. too bad it mostly got wasted...
