Fuckings to anyone who was still cracking and spreading Amiga games in 1996.

Basic classic.
No cracking scene, no demo scene.

alien:
i'm not arguing the link between the cracking scene and the demo scene, but I think people cracking amiga games way into the late nineties is akin to kicking someone when they're down...

When I was young there was only a cracking scene.
This generation stopped cracking between 1985 and 1987 because we were old enough to comprehend coherences.
No one was "afraid".
Just wanted to say: "We never forgot about our roots."
Old scene always used to support scener-games and companies in trouble.
So I'm in complete agreement with you, but I don't know how old crackers have been 1996.
It all should be a "live and let live".

Nice cracktro! And they didn't crack Xtreme Racing since that game had no protection. :)

Should be January 1996, not October. See screen shot. Nice clean design, epic texts =)

Yep, january, done.
No protection = no crack, like in 1982/1983. ;)

That still doesn't invalidate my point ;-)

Excellent. Some of you surely remember an impressive Euro-Sport program announcement from early 90s. The effect with 12 stars spinning into the Z-axe direction. Almost exactlu what we can see here. The same (and first on Amiga) effect was coded in Voyage demo by Razor 1911.
