kill this pack if you don't know how to edit it!
1) still don't know how to correctly format simple text file (f.e. pages 5, 22, 26). and don't tell me you did it again in hurry! this pack has been released over one month after bp! guys - launch ced and go to pull down menu -> file -> set right border -> 78 or 80 and then use lamiga+f. is it so fucking hard!?!?!
2) dispwitch's ascii still fucked up (p. 6)
3) in "news" section we have nah's memberlist from... august 2001. ;)
4) at credits page we notice it's #564 issue of speed. :)
i hurried and i should thumb down this issue.

anyway, speed really needs aga? i don't think so.
magic, you forgot that amiga lowres is 320x256. that's why you cut navigation menu at the bottom in the screenshot! :D :D :D
maybe you ask me why i criticize this issue. in it's best days speed was really good pack, full of news, well edited - just perfect. when evan (previous ex-editor) dropped out of his job speed's quality fell down. sad but true.

Nice screenshot! Muahh! ;)
What about a new code for this pack? You and Case have used the same panels and the same buggy code again and again since AGES! Magic: You should have given your reviews to EC instead.

my ascii?! don't remember ever doing an ascii for nah-kolor and speed. too bad i cant check it out here, comp to weak for uae.
Kempy: we dont have enough time or motivation. Maybe for next issue we can do some GREAT improvements.
I think its nice for amiga scene a pack still gets released. so.. :)

Ghandy: why to the EC? The EC should be given to an active group or bunch of sceners to its released more often! ;-)
p.s. read the last few lines in my welcome to speed 64 article ;-)

I agree with Kempy that the quality of the Speed pack has declined during the last years. I have good memories of the fantastic issues Blaze released, and the good job Evan did. In those days they got support from many sceners in form of adverts, news, messages, articles and so on. Today things are different - and this issue of Speed lacks a lot of what the older ones had. It is full of small errors, like Kempy points out. It looks unpolished to be honest.
Although, it is nice to see that a pack gets released in 2005. That is the positive thing about this release. Besides, it should not be an excuse for releasing an unpolished and errorfull edition of this pack that has a great history.
Hope you guys fix it up next time, and include some new text. Good luck! :)
I give this a thumbs down - this is not how Speed should look.

Had a closer look at it now. Most articles are totally fucked up because you obviously don't know how to format a text. The player routine for all chiptunes are the old, buggy ones, so on my A4000 the chips seem to run a race and not to please me.
And thanks for the fuckings! I feel honoured! ;-) You should have mentioned Zito instead of me as he wrote the article but it's quite okay as it is now. hehe

Ghandy, fuckings to Zito than. Wasnt ment seriously and you know it. Actually case did all formatting so.. ;-)
Okay, then please teach her how to format or else better don't release it at all.
Got to agree with Ghandy there.
not really a burner
Hmm.
