Oh, and by the way, the demo isn't "MSDOS/GUS". It's SB only! (that's why I told my GUS story above :). It was released in early 1993, and it won the small "In Bloom" party in Hungary. It was Majic 12's first release on the PC scene, after being on the Amiga (thus the ripped pic from Cougar/Sanity at the beginning).
And maybe I'll explain my first comment. The Wish endscroller had some comment about someone else's diskmag, with the quote "The new issue is fantastic good". So F.G. became a silly "broken-english" thing to say for DC5 and other American guys.. a couple even entered the Asm99 MP3 compo under the group name "The Fantastic Goods". I guess you could say it was the original "all your base are belong to us". :)

"WATCH, THINK AND VOTE"
Well, I watched, I thought the memberlist part was too long and now I vote. :)

This my favorite dos demo !
Rocks
I remember I couldn't even watch it enough well in my 286!
This demo was my first demoscene experience, back in 1994 or 95 or so. I loved it. I saw it running on some computer on a local consumer electronics show. Later, i managed to get it from somewhere. And it ran buggy on my Realtek VGA, so i had to buy a Trident one, to work properly. Then i was happy! :)
It's one of my all time favourite MSDOS demos...
nice graphics
Cool. Runs okish in DOSBox.
For the graphics.
yep, nice !
Good effects, good graphics, catchy tune. If it only had any design...
Ho! I forgot this little demo, I loved it a lot :)
not sure if dosbox emulates Trident cards. some effects are bloated, but nevertheless its a good demo with some impressive effects on PC for 93.
Very nice! Especially the graphics.
jau
That's cougar's dog from the the party gfx compo later featured in jesterday, right? What is it doing in here?
NEVER liked this one. Like it was sticked together, at least in terms of gfx, without any sense...
Hm, no commend for this? Moderately decently average for its time. The soun quality (as well as the music) is absurdly bad afair.
enjoyed from one
good sh*t
really cool one
Love this one!
Wonder what VGA-trick was used for the interference circles, as they run really smooth even on an XT

Also: "The next two parts are using full processor time so there is no music."
Ah, the days. :) When I only had a GUS, I would play the tune in cmodtsr then run the demo..
