Can only watch the video here, but I could swear it had much more variance (noise) during the compo. Maybe it was just my lack of sleep..
Yeah, realized this after making the quick YT video. There is some audio-based distortion going on the floor, but the way it is implemented (just using the loopback audio input, basically what is currently being played by windows during a demo) it was not included when capturing the frames. I will do proper implementation for future demos and maybe re-do the video for this one.
Anyway thanks, glad you liked it. - isokadded on the 2024-10-09 09:24:16

- Quick last minute release. Something like NV 3070 or AMD 6800 perf class. Features working exit via ESC key for the first time.

NOTE: There is an issue with stutter/frame pacing.
Yeah, def' felt that, there's a lot of back-and-forth flicker between next-frame and previous-frame, and an insane amount of vsync tearing (RX8700). It also didn't quit on ESC or when the demo ended.
The demo is obviously far above the current scene standard, I just wish the music and the visuals would've agreed on a middle-ground.
Ok, so i finally looked into the sync code. There was a stupid issue which should be fixed. If you want to try this version linky it should be fine. Will run it through few people and if it is fine will upload to the proper location. There is still slight problem with the smoothness but this is probably from my internal timing code. VSync and weird jumping back/forth should be fixed. - isokadded on the 2024-09-16 03:12:00

Is it just me or does it say "hund"? ;)
Hmmm, not by design, but it does show there is an issue with video encode:) Checked the input video and it is fine, so must be youtube. No idea if you can reupload without pulling the previous one down, so because nobody seemed to notice i will claim it is a design. - isokadded on the 2024-09-05 15:15:41

Works decently with 3060ti (around 20fps) but for better experience something faster is required. Tested with both AMD (6900XT) and NV under Windows 11. Install latest Vulkan drivers.
NOTE: There is an issue with stutter/frame pacing. I will be looking to fix this, but might take few days. Also, last year there were some problems with fullscreen mode on some setups, and because i didn't really have time to work on this part, it is likely that the problem remains. - isokadded on the 2024-09-03 13:09:40

- @wrighter Temporal artifacts are mostly from the volumetrics (temporal aspect of it). There is also reprojection in voxel lighting and pretty naive TAA on top of it. So there you go.
@wysiwtf This is weird. I also run 144Hz 1440p displays (two of them). For the windowing system i use GLFW. Maybe update could help.
As for the grain it is actually not the postprocessing:) It is because i either turned off or seriously dialed down all the denoisers because they sucked. So in the end there are multiple lighting components which are grainly/noisy. - isokadded on the 2023-09-18 20:39:02

- @wysiwtf interesting. Saw no issues from 20 and 30 series owners. Might have to investigate:(

- Hi, this is a party version. Pretty rushed so on the slow side (content is really not optimized, better version might come in next days). Runs on 3060ti, but something faster is much preferred. Recent Vulkan-capable drivers required. Tested on AMD (rx6xxx) and NV (RTX3xxx) GPUs.
Video coming soon (very) - isokadded on the 2023-08-31 19:58:58
