Maybe somebody is interested: An instance of the Ludum Dare contest series is running right now. The theme is evolution. You have 48 hours (actually from now only a bit more than 37 hours) to create a game that is somehow related to that theme.

Don't think Notch is participating this time.
From what I heard, last time when he streamed, he had tens of thousands of viewers, which started to cost him a *lot* of money.
So that may be the reason. |

Nah, the reason is that he's not in the mood this time and/or has no idea for a game. And the money thing was because IIRC he used a pay-for-traffic service before he switched over to twitch.tv. Also, he has more money than God, so that's not really an issue anyway. ;) |
