My advice: get yourself a philosophy that gives your life some meaning, but still fits with your beliefs. Hunt around, there's sure to be a good one out there. And yeah, get out and do exercise and stuff. It all helps. Sitting around and letting it all stew doesn't. |

also try getting a hobby like bicycling (BMXing also is really interesting if you have the physical requirements and spirit), fishing, camping, horse riding, sth that keeps you close to nature and also calms your soul. also remember that you must love what you do, and happiness will come along... |

Life really isn't pointless.
Just read one (rather silly) book:
"The Book: On The Taboo Against Knowing What You Are", by Alan Watts
Learn to be a genuine fake, learn to just "do it", learn that there is nothing to life but just thhhhaaattttt. It's all a big joke. |

Bicycle is nice. I used to ride one in Karlsruhe everyday in my Erasmus times. Pity that in other bigger cities I have lived (Thessaloniki and London) it's not very easy to ride a bicycle and find a place to bind it and too much traffic and all that stuff.
Though I remember I was quite depressed during Erasmus. Bicycle reminded me the simple nice things in life, it helped a bit but there were other things bothering my mind.
p.s. Thanks for the info on that book. I didn't know anything about Alan Watts but this seems to be for me. |
