Hello, I'm a huge demo fan, but I have no idea how to make my own. I'm prepared to fail. I'm prepared to make the lamest demo ever.
I think I'm looking for info regarding how to program DirectX....I dunno.
Iam quite drunk.
I love demos & want to make something nice; no idea where to start....
Programmed Sinclair QLs, BBC Micros, kinda understand how programming works, love demos, plenty time to spare....uhhh.... |

To be somewhat concise:
Love demos by....all the usual folks.
Realise I have plenty time to put into it (PLENTY!!)
Want to go from idiot to savant via pouet message board.
Task 1 - Learn to program (DirectX) or something (any link to any guide is fine - I'll be keeping this upto date regardless). Ai ai....gimme something to go on!

I still can't really think of a better DirectX programming resource than the SDK. |
|
|
I'd say you're already half way there! |
|
|
|
Go make a demo about it! |
