Evidently polish are much harder boozers than finns indeed in general. I remember very well when finns were waking up and drinking some beer at some BP, poles were already busy with their hard stuff. |

I would recommened some stuff, which is (unfortunately) available in German language only.
Dr. Daniel Botz wrote a whole book about the demoscene, called "Kunst, Code and Maschine: Die Ästhetik der Computer-Demoszene". It goes through all parts, history and present of the demoscene in a scientific point of view:
Website (includes table of content in English language, too): http://www.danielbotz.de/book_toc_eng.html Interview with the author (German): http://www.bitfellas.org/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.2139
Anja Hartmann wrote a scientific thesis about "The role of fonts in demos". She had a closer look at five prods, which are Heaven Seven, Die Ewigkeit schmerzt, Rastro, Human Sources and Angelic. The thesis consists of 28 pages and is written in German language.

Thanks for the certainly excellent readings. I'm really interested in reading this German book by Daniel Botz, but I need to learn the language first. :P |
