Gargaj: Yup, I'm happy for it. Let me think that this kick off was really important. :)
wysiwtf: We've got something like 30-40 visitors and this quantity stressed me a lot. :P It was a bad idea to have many non-scene-related live acts. People simply thought that the bands were the main attractions of the party, and they were like "Come on! What the fuck is that?" when we started the first compo. So I could understand why the demoscene is underground and a little 'elitist'. People sometimes don't give a shit for something that is new or simply different. It was the main reason of my
CONS: The GFX compo was really awesome. And Rbz saved us! We had one demo entry because of him. :)
kbi: Yeah, I feel that I have to make another party next year. I've learned a lot this time and I already have some venue proposals and they look perfect for it. :)

xernobyl, wysiwtf: I will upload it next monday when I get home. :) I cannot access the data on my computer from here. And how do I host things on scene.org? I've heard that it was closed for new hosting requests or something like that. :Z

getting your files to scene.org is rather simple:
-use an ftp client and connect to ftp.scene.org
-go to pub / parties / year/ party / first, to check out how the directory structure is for demoscene parties and their releases. you will see, each compo has its own subdirectory
-then go back to the incoming folder, create the dir structure you need as it is in the other party directories (actually i did create artengine12, because i uploaded my entries already. you can work from there)
- finally upload all entries in their original submitted form to the different subdirectories in artengine12.
