If you give money to a charty, do you expect them to give you anything back except a sincere "thank you"? Is in this case voting for him anything else than a charity?
I have name voted various people in parliament elections, demo parties and many random contests. Only bad thing I see in my actions is that it might cause minor grief to other contestants. Since I have great doubt that I'm the only one to name vote, it doesn't matter that much to me.
I much appreciate if I can help someone with a few mouse clicks or strokes of a pen. |
