okki, however, I think there was more than one such project. There was one opera(?) as well? This one is much smaller. (We have _one_ actor :-)

- 12 € entrance
- 1 good actress and a couple of people in the background
- ~50 min entertainment
- slow start of the plot
- after the atmosphere started to catch you it's over and you leave with the feeling of "this was it?"

They did record it (both through video camera, and capturing the controller changes), so I guess something will appear at some point.

Review from Süddeutsche Zeitung

Graphical Labyrinth
A multimedial theatre project in the Pathos Transport

Sandman meets Frankenstein: In the interdisciplinary and multimedial theatre project "Rendering... ein Making of" in the Pathos Transport Theatre an actress, a computer and three programmers try to find the relationship between man and machine in the artistic creation process. The main character of the post-dramatic scenery by Gero Tögl and Gabriel Döll is fittingly a cartoon producer. Modern technology is as well part of Nathalias métier as pictorial phantasy. But while working on her draft of a teenage romance she starts drifting off into nightmarish childhood memories. The background literature for this is the black-romantic fairytale "the Sandman" by E.T.A. Hoffmann, where also the relationship between an artificial product, the automaton Olimpia and her creator Spalanzani is picked out as the central theme. Slowly also Nathalia turns into a Frankenstein figure, obsessed to create her own perfect (cartoon-)Monster based on her own biography.
On the stage of the Pathos this transformation is visualized on several projection planes with the aid of highly disturbing computer graphics made by the Norwegian programmer formation "Keyboarders". As "Demosceners" they create complex scenes of sound and pictures: At first a motionless sandman floats in the black and white noise of the antenna signal. But soon he comes alive in always changing, labyrinth-like nested graphics; in a menacing sea of sharp poles and stomping cubes he transforms and alienates. Like every proper monster he gets out of Nathalias control. The visually captivating and with regard to content complex reflection about the relationship between man and machine eventually ends in an ear-piecing collapse.
