yes decipher, if someone wants attention to a subject a reasonable way to achieve this would be to start a topic on it. id actually love if this thread was more about organizing data (thanks all of you who have contributed)

but ill admit, maybe the key was wrong or wrong time to bring it up, or wrong crowd..... which id hate to think since i love watching demos and have nothing but outmost respect for the ingenuity and creativity ive witnessed on this site.

Okay enough trolling. wWales, for me the problem was that you actually approached the matter quite wildly. First of all the topic was not quite scene related no matter how hard you tried covering it under a masquerade of scene cosmetics. Another issue being (I am obviously speaking for myself and myself alone) you trying hard to dominate over us the same way my professor at the university behaves: "I am off to do x, when I am back I will tell you idiots how much you were wrong, but in the meantime try elaborating on the issue yourself to only find you all sucked when I am back".

Now, cataloging your movie archive might be a good idea. I for one have a demo archive of my own and I use a simple tool that I coded to see if I have a demo I have just seen on Pouët or wherever. Also you should understand that Pouët is a place of lethal amounts of trolling and lameness. This is an archive website, sure most of us are the same guys that produce the stuff you love and I am utmost happy & grateful to hear that. But you should also understand that the nature of Pouët is hardly stable. Anyways, welcome "home" :).

wWales: It's really simple: This is the WRONG forum to discuss how to organize your movies.

Now: BAN.

Lads, I want to organize my comics, should I sort them by publisher, hero or year?

datamining out of databases and clever visualization of the results is an interesting and useful topic though

thanks im glad we could talk in this manner, ill leave this topic now a little bit wiser, and ill be sure to try and think out my posts in the future to make them a bit less "inflammatory" :)

and for the "professory talk" i just started a course at Uni so all i hear all day long is this way of talking and i guess it caught on to myself, it was in no way intended as a means of "bossing around"

farewell for now sceners :)

You have been warned.
