The best "infinite zoom" I ever saw... wow!

in particular the addition of soundscapes and of "extra" independent objects to improve the feeling.

By the way, the original Zoomquilt, doing an infinite zoom made in the way of a quilt/by tiles by different artists, as we did in iCE.org was my idea, but Niklaus forgot to add me in the credits... :(

The blending in the zoomquilts looks much better than the first post url IMHO. They did it without letting the artists paint in the other artists tiles, but instead they had to continue painting, the same we did other quilts.

Before that idea, I did also this thing, very similar in concept: http://p1x.org/rb-01/

HEY: Would you like to collaborate in a big size, flash based, Radarbase thing?

I will code it and paint or design! We can even add music to it! What do you think? Any of you interested?

texel: no not like that, i think i meant something like myst...
texel: afaik no infinite zoomer I ever saw made use of external 3D elements, but that's a very effective way of enhancing the sense of space...

Beside of this, check http://datunnel.blogspot.com/ --> demoreview #6 and comments... :)

Spot, Contour - all these demos have a nice endless zoomer, but don't forget TBL's Perfect Circle (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=2007)
