alk: for anything to be done about this; those with ripped material *need* to fill out a proper Apple copyright infringement complaint (just an email to copyright@apple.com, but with thge /necessary information/ documented on apple's contact info page.
It requires jumping through a lot of hoops, but they ARE worthwhile pursuing if you want to get a result. If you are the copyright holder, it's much easier - doing it on someone's behalf is possible but only if you have express permission to do so; and that means signed in writing, faxed, duplicated three times, lost, found, lost again... you get the picture :(

All the royalties are still on their places.
If you read my first post on page 110, I already told about giving the royalties to the Artists or if they like; donating them for something (like donating to scene.org) |

So i if I used scene music for the breaks in a non-scene related radio show, because well I really like scene music, and give proper credit would you fellas mind? Or would this non-scene appropriation of scene music be upsetting? |

Proper credit is nice, asking for permission/letting the artists know is even better.
If money is involved and you cannot find the artist for agreement/permission, well, it sucks but I would just skip to the next song. |
