That's my laptop atm. I need recommendations of relatively modern demos that will run somehow smoothly in this machine. (Actually starts and runs at >2 FPS (: )

I have this square block that doesn't fit a round hole.

GET A DECENT MACHINE!!

You could somehow manipulate a black hole, in order to manage to stretch the spacetime continuoum, so that even though the demos run ridiculously slow on that machine, their speed appears normal to the observer.

Or you could buy a new laptop. Your choice.

nitro: why gat a decent machine? the crap you have is enough to stupidly post random rotten.com pics in an otherwise funny image thread.

heaven7: Running really smoothly, to my surprise...
square: Started, but VDMsound and the xm player didn't get along very well.
hyperventilation: Couldn't get either port to start properly, but this made my day:

uristen: Träskodansen version 4k :D
antifact: Sorry, I refuse to look at anything from limp ninja. ):
we miss you: Runs perfectly, but a little boring. I'm gonna save the mp3 though.
Stupid me. This is a good chance to explor the world of GB demos. :D

Hi there, do you mind trying out my little prods on your PC.

They work(slow) on a PII-266.

You should also definitely try Zilog(win port) by sunflower, awesome demo.

I still think it's a modern demo.

duffman: Doesn't work for me. (Just quits) It wasn't until I went to earlier projects I found out why. All of them require 32-bit color, and I only got 24. Screens look good, and I think they'd run fine if it wasn't for that.
zilog: Runs fine. After seeing a lot of cool 64k'ers, I believe this one could've been done smaller. (512k or something maybe) Still very cool, and very smooth even on my computer.
2-million-Polys-and-some-Moonlight: safe.exe ): But screens look cool.
hyperventilation: See comment above.
