Actually LW stuff isn't that different from MAX stuff. Since you're exporting MAX to your own format anyway writing the same exporter to parse LWS/LWO files isn't THAT hard.

And besides, didn't CNCD vs ORANGE also have LWS and 3DS, for instance?

tls has developed a pretty fucking cool lwo-based engine. check it out here - http://snok.demonews.com/ or here - http://www.tls.no/

ofcourse one wont experience that problem when writing two exporters that convert/store into the same self-made file format. the lws exporter might be a little bitch to code but i guess you're talking crap again lator :)

why don't you apply one more of those fine macdonalds logo's to your cubes

um, Lator, I thought I wrote you'd export to your own format? that would mean you'd end up with the same math? well, maybe not in your case, obviously.

my lib 3d is a wrapper of apis. you can use opengl or directx even on macosx or windows, linux, iphone, etc. but there is only access to functions of directx and opengl, then the greffon "ned" can take over thousnd of objects and animate it in doom3 rendering like. the full access is obtained with dead deer for modeling and import from 3ds for exemple, even .x, ogre, or some other format. but lightwave importer can be added.

Pouet'ers are amazing people. If someone reposts a topic, they get flamed, if they dig up an existing topic instead of opening a new, they get flamed as well :-D That's SO cool :-D
