It's not suposed to be an amulation, it's more like a copy... makes no sense... anyway I've read in some site that it sounds worse. Not that worse... I actually found some samples... not the best example, but here you can find it:

Why nobody do Retroconsole in 2006?
CPU(arm?+flash eeprom -> atmel)+FPGA/gpu+blitter,usb,soundchip/+CF or SD card chip+SRAM+CF or SD card reader.
GPU -> 256x192 / 512x384 /16,256,4096,32768,65536/
Soundchip core -> 2xFM 2x3 PSG (stereo)
In nice console case.
USB gamepad+USB keyboard+... PC USB periferials...

I think I fucked up my DTV while attempting the luma fix. Soldering SMD components without proper equipment is such a bitch.
So now I'm trying to fix it with resistors from an old walkman and a smaller soldering tip. Wish me luck.
(also in the works: a case made from a VHS box)
