dipswitch: my informants tell me it was a pre-invitation for what ended up as Skenery 1996. It was postponed to september instead of august. (27-29th September 1996, in Koulukeskus, Palokka, )

sparcus: judging the invitation text, probably NOT. it claims itself to be "one of the biggest PC SCENE parties" but states that it doesnt have sponsors yet (apart from the partyplace) and overall the invite seems quite sloppy. i believe it died the same horrible death as poison'97 (~10 people turned up) or fantastic'98 (never organized due to slack cut by diskmags) |

Next one: Bytefall 1998
I believe Bytefall 96 & 97 were in August, Bytefall 99 was in February.
I can't find any results for Bytefall 98. So did it exist? Or was it delayed until february 99?

And note that I just added an entry to bytefall 98 which claims in it infofile that it was released there. This entry seems to be released in july '98. |

bytefall 98 never happened, so that entry is probably from 99 |

I believe the entry was actually released in '98 (it's in hornets '98 dir), so I guess that entry was just released outside the party when bytefall 98 didn't happen.

Optimize and Optimise:
Both seem to be South African parties around 2000. Were that the same parties or did the .za scene really manage to have two parties with nearly the same name? When were these parties? |
