Most amazing coding feats on the old 8-bits
category: general [glöplog]
Over on the yakyak llamasoft forums, someone was asking about the "Most amazing feats of programming on the old micros". I posted some links to C64, VIC-20 and Atari XL demos which I think are pretty cool, but i'm no expert.
So.. what do the pouet regulars think are the "Most amazing feats of programming on the old micros" (which i presume is everything from the Z80/65xx era).

Oh yeah.. the yakyak thread is here:

Most of the replies are from non-demosceners, so its mostly just old games people replied with. My post is on the third page.

Wow. You guys really have strong opinions on this, huh? ;-)
I joined the scene in 1989 and have only been working on 16-bit machines and up so I don't know much about the platforms you mention. The last C64 demo I saw was on TCC'93 and I think it contained some really cool effects. Wonderland by Censor---check it out.
