Indeed. I want to see NeoGeo demos.

Same here (:
I have enough odd platforms to mess with right now, however, so I will concentrate on various other odd platforms and not getting things done on them first.
people should choose developing for gameboy color instead of neogeo :)

are neo geos and games still mad expensive? is there some sort of backup/developmentsystem available?

They are still very expensive, ranging from 30 to 200 euros on average. Classics such as the Metal Slug series are even more expensive (especially the cartridge version)

I also have a 64DD here... and as I said 100 years ago, I would donate it to a serious programmer who wants to develop the first homemade appilcations / demos / whatever for it.

NG game prices are overrated
because of that me owns only 2 MVS games and 2 MVS system
but I surely would enjoy to watch some demo on it :)

Some years ago I've seen an intro for Neo Geo made by SNK (the coder from Supremacy, not the corporation). He used an old 520 STF with Devpac to code the intro, and the data were sent to the console by the joystick port of the ST :)

So that's why I wonder if there were others intros/demos to see...

[Strider]: I had a talk with him last year about that (I was also interested in coding something on that platform) and as far as I remember his intro had no sound, right?

Keops: I really don't remember, it's quite old and there was a lot of noise (I saw it during the Very Important Party 2 in Lyons).
There is a little chance he comes to Crau04 Party in December...
