however, .3ds is an ugly format that supports very few features. I'd recommend writing a MAX export plugin. For that, just get MAX SDK from your favourite .. software dealer.

shiva > i agree that exporterplugs are the way to go.. but it somehow seems that people tend to export less data than the 3ds format contains nowadays =)
