 ==[INTRODUCTION]==============================================================

   Welcome to the JUST documentation file. Please read this _before_ star-
   ting the demonstration.
   It contains some useful informations to avoid system crashs and/or un-
   necessary malfunctions.

 ==[2]====================================================================[2]==
 ==[REQUIREMENTS]==============================================================

   The JUST demonstration requires at least a 486 to run at full speed. It
   will run on a 386,though,but it will be rather slow in some parts, then.
   A Gravis Ultrasound Card is highly recommended, though not necessary for
   music and sound output. Again, it will run without this one, but well...
   you will miss something (Soundblaster or other soundcards are not fully
   synchronised, yet...)
   The Gravis needs to be equiped with at least 768kb of dram memory.
   To summarize here's the optimum system requirement:

   486/66+
   Fast VGA (preferably local bus of some kind)
   200kb of free conventional memory
   2176kb of extented mem (VCPI/XMS/RAW) [GUS & No Sound]
   2496kb of extended mem (VCPI/XMS/RAW) [All other soundcards]

 ==[3]====================================================================[3]==
 ==[COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS]===================================================

   There are nine built in command line parameters.

    JUST -? - Get the helpscreen (all this is displayed there, too)
    JUST -S# - Soundcard type (note: disables autodetection)
                 0 : No Sound
                 1 : Sound Blaster
                 2 : Sound Blaster v2.01
                 3 : Sound Blaster Pro
                 4 : Sound Blaster 16/16ASP
                 5 : Pro Audio Spectrum
                 6 : Pro Audio Spectrum PLUS
                 7 : Pro Audio Spectrum 16
                 8 : Windows Sound System
                 9 : Gravis Ultrasound
         -P### - Soundcard Port in hex (Default: 220)
         -I#   - Soundcard Interrupt   (Default: 7)
         -D#   - Soundcard DMA         (Default: 1)
         -M - Disable memory detection for GUS
         -W    - Save JUST-MUSICS to disk
         -L    - Enable demo looping
         -V - Disable special VGA mode

 ==[4]====================================================================[4]==
 ==[KEY FUNCTIONS]=============================================================

   During the demo you can press one of the following keys:

    +   <=> Main-Volume up
    -   <=> Main-Volume down
    M   <=> Mute Main-Volume
    ESC <=> Quit back to DOS

 ==[5]====================================================================[5]==
 ==[TROUBLESHOOTING]===========================================================

   Q: The JUST demonstration crashes after detecting the sound card...
   A: That is a known bug. If you've configured your Gravis Ultrasound card
      for using IRQ 15,please try some other IRQ. It should well work then!

   Q: The monitor display is somewhat messed up...
   A: Try to recalibrate your monitor or try the "-V" command line parameter.
      JUST uses some modes that are not likely set up for your monitor.

 ==[6]====================================================================[6]==
 ==[TIPS AND TRICKS]===========================================================

   - This demo was NOT coded for optimum performance on 386 machines.
     You'll need a fast 486 machine to properly enjoy the show.

   - The demo runs under Windows '95 and Windows 3.11, but for full speed
     you should run it under plain DOS.

   - The demo isn't tested under OS/2, so if it should not run contact us.
