I installed this... now whenever I start winamp (2.xx), a seperate program in the screenshot starts up and plays a MIDI tune, and keeps playing regardless of whatever you do in Winamp. There's no apparent synchro or interaction with winamp whatsoever (aside from the fact that it starts with winamp). It also doesn't show up in the viz plugin list.

am I missing something?

I am missing the same thing as SeannyB..
I have the slight feeling that only the name has remained from this group. I don't even know how many of the people involved in S!P have anything to do with the old group..

Sadly they ARE easy. Take your bad intro, add one call and one structure copied from the gen_sdk example, compile as dll, copy into winamp dir, there you go. Every kid can do that and apparently every kid DOES.

The funny thing isn't that this "is not demoscene"... come on, it's a bad GL rendering and a tune playing, it qualifies as seomthing like a "demo" in my eyes... the problem is that it's not even a regular winamp plugin. At least it doesn't follow ANY of the standards of the plugin community/scene.

So a definite thumb down for this one. It can't stand as an intro, as it's too bad. It can't stand as a plugin, as it doesn't do anything remotely useful. And even as proof that even newbie demosceners can write winamp plugins it sucks.

Pouet is so incredibly sad. I wish TMB would stop putting my products on here, really. All you guys do here is sit around like a bunch of old lady's sit around and whine.

In reply to your its so easy to make a winamp plugin, yes it is. Did I claim anywhere that it isnt? I tell you I can make any stupid program in less then a day or three and TMB knows this. The thing is: I thought of it first. Take refosearch, now Kazaa lite: I thought of that first too. Take this winamp plugin: We thought of it first and now it is on pouet. Next time, you think of something first and we'll complain to you.

Or no, that isnt my style. Oops sorry bout that. I'm seriously thinking about making a pouet sucks incredibly much ass demo, but then again, I'm above that. :)

Anyway, keep tossing your dick and glueing your blowup doll together and Surprise will keep the demo's rolling in. And TMB, leave this site alone, I haven't seen such a great collection of whino's and pathetic losers together since the Klu Klux Klan episodes on Jerry Springer and the word Fudge packers springs to mind here.

its a wild for fuck sake, i havent watched it tho, but dont complain about its winamp when its added as a wild, think about those flash shit instead. atleast winamp plugins are coded , just like any intro/demo.
