it's a good idea. it's funny, and the music and voices are cute. yes, the execution is chintzy, slow and it's not pretty to look at, but i enjoyed it more than watching a boring, technically sound flyby in 64k, and the enjoyment factor is probably why this won..
"Quality" is shurely not the word that crosses your mind when watching this intro, but they deserve some respect for just doing it.
Let me explain something (lame excuse ahead):
The intro is all built around the sing engine, which was the main motivation for doing it.
The "rest" was mainly developed a week before the party (including the animation system), so sorry for bad visual design.
next 64k will be better, i promis ;)

Like their 'Kötterdämmerung' it just crashes instantly after start (error in exe file)
Well hmm... funny (althought I didn't laugh). There was no real effects, so it doesn't rule :X
one of the worst thing ever... we could say now the scene is dying when we see these crap winning...
A) it sucks and B) it crashed when i pressed ESC
and C) if you read the txt it's a party version and the crash is a known bug ;)

Yes sir, this is one ugly demo. But it's a nice concept. However, I personally wouldn't have bothered with the 'techno' section.
very original 64k! the singing robot is brandnew coder-p0rn and so it rockz.. the rest is hacked together and a bit too long, but worked perfectly at the partyplace itself..

It's really ugly. Really. But, you know what? It is very original, it made me smile and it's small. I love originality. A rare feature these days.
It must have been a killer when showed on the big screen, i imagine sceners claping their hands to the soundtrack's beat =)

he's talking about how he would code a speech synth for over 2 years now. he deserves nothing better than a kick in the ass like this - if he would just start really working on it instead of doing a few experiments and writing a few lines of code and then stopping again, he'd have managed long ago.

anyway, i don't feel good by saying this, but this was an original display of 1996-style skinning featuring bad "effects" (you call that rain?), bad textures and a few giant German trucks full of artifacts. the idea was indeed funny, but i would have enjoyed the somewhat audible speech more if i were presented a black screen in the meanwhile (or a classic 2D tunnel perhaps).
