Note that this music-disk contains a vast majority of the chiptunes ever released on ST : that means *4646* tunes! Yep, more than 4000 tunes for the size of two MP3 :)
Grazey did a huge work ripping and collecting all these songs from demos and games, and they are presented in an efficient and elegant way...
The intro of the music-disk itself rocks bigtime : a 20-minute overview/summary of 15 years of ST music (both for demos and games) synched with a brilliant medley of appropriate chiptunes from the same period!
An absolute MUST if you are interested in ST music, even remotely!

Best musicdisk for 2002
impressive, very impressive.
GREAT COLLECTION !
Hmm, this production has really been hyped up especially on nectarine - I was on the Amiga scene and I've never owned an Atari - any chance of a divx of this 'intro'? Or do I have to get an emulator?
try STEEM. a divx would be very long..
THE ST music collection.
For non Atari freaks, it runs marvelously on STeem and its great YM2149 emulation.

Intro is very impressive with it's history narrative - explains the 'mad max' bit and Thalion - and the music is a good bit of YM stuff.
Wouldn't it be nice if someone did the same for the C64? Write a pretty intro and player, then cram the entire HVSID collection onto six hundred 1541 floppies. ;-)
I watched it yesterday. That was preety the nicest shit I watched since ages!!! Watching to tunes fading, presenting the history of AtariSt music, with nice effects and screens, wow =) And then a menu with thousands of tunes categorized in authors. WOW!!!
Amazing stuff
Deserves 100 Thumbs up :)

Clearly, the intro by itself is awesome. The remixes of tunes are very well done, and the story with it was quite a cool idea.
And that's without talking about the music compilation work that has been accomplished by these crazy dudes :)

unbelievable!
<Grazey> well don't think anyone found the hidden scroller in UMD :)
Anyone? :)
Anyone? :)
Grazey finally told me how to access the hidden part:
-select and play a song beginning with "G"
-select and play a song beginning with "R"
-select and play a song beginning with "Z"
-click on the Rasta's RIGHT eye
(it's best to use mad max as there's a song with G R and Z)
Something else: for those who want to listen to the kickass intro tune (more than 20 min of remixed Atari ST chiptunes), here is the mp3 (20 mb):

This is indeed perfect: hours and hours of great music, intro is very interesting too, with brilliant mix from Tao. If only he could make a full lenght remix of Goldrunner II!!! :)
Ooh cool!! That melody is so great it needs a decent remix and Tao's start in this mix sounded sooo great :)
Very nice demo but almost feel like a musicdisk =)

Wonderful! An astonishing achievement!
Totally a thumbs up. Great history lesson for the Atari ST and it's musical styles over the years. And then there's that massive selection too. Amazing.
This is fckn' great for a ST !

Great intro, great tune!
What a brilliantly presented celebration of Atari ST chiptune music ...and a history lesson of its development. ❤️
