Some things never get old or boring to look at.
bit of a mixed bag, some great scenes, some average scenes, but overall very enjoyable, i especially liked the stitched logos on the cloth at the start.

I haven't seen it yet, but this thumb is here to counteract Barti's usual idiotic behavior.
It is indeed a bunch of clichés (you get exactly what's on the tin!). I can see the humor, and most of them are well done (which I suppose is part of the irony), but the colorscheme is at times hideous, and the pacing is very slow.
I'm disappointed that it wasn't a bass clef in the credits.

But it has effects! Who cares if cliche, hehe. I have long time to see physical effects and nice bump. Shinny, nice, always smooth in my machine. I think it was solid.

Meh, the concept could've been taken so much further. The sync-flashing cliché was unnecessary and the music was far from lug00ber's usual quality (due to cliché purposes maybe?)

if you just take its single components its all nice to look at and listen to but not revolutionary by any means.
i think it won because the sum of all the parts shows that there was love and skill involved, also because lug00bers soundtrack carries it from the first beat to the last.
cheers to everyone involved and especially to messy for delivering his first entry after 12 years of silence (if demozoo doesnt lie).

Actually, the track was written for a Portal Process demo that never came to be, and has been sitting on the hard drive for about three and a half year. I am very fond of the mood and feel of it, so I've kept it to myself waiting for the right occasion. When I was asked for a drum & bass track with 303's I figured it was time to let it out (almost all bass sounds in the track made with d16's 303 clone Phoscyon).
I wanted to touch it up a bit soundwise, but there's too many plugins used that I no longer have/works in Win7 to run the project. I'd have to do a lot from scratch, and I haven't had the time to do it.
Anyways, for me this is one of my absolute favorite works. If it's not your cup of tea that's perfectly fine :)

i dont know how much of it, if any, is faked/baked animation, but there's some really nice looking physics-based fx parts in here! thumb up for great code and/or great faking, and a great track as well. well deserved win.

Awesome demo'ish demo! Looks great (except the tunnel, which somehow looks bland and boring), sounds great, has some very nice sync, and humour to boot! Loved it on the bigscreen, still love it now back at home. :)
