p01 : I know it's lame but I removed the setTimeout compatibility to save a few bytes. It was the first time I did any javascript size-coding. I will probably make a final version with full compatibility though.

piggy since it took my 5-10 minutes to shorten it under 512 bytes (494 bytes atm). 256b is surely possible if coded from stratch. and you are saying that you removed setTimeout "to save a few bytes". You could easily saved more than 500 "other bytes". :)

Skate : nice, thanks. Obviously, I shouldn't have sticked to requestAnimationFrame and should have used setTimeOut, for better compatibility and size reduction. But as I said, I almost never program with javascript, I did it just for fun at the partyplace, and just before the deadline.
Thanks anyway for your optimization which is indeed much better than mine.
