thumb up because i love when something goes from ugly and boring to cool. the day part is ugly though. you really need to work on those colors...

Good rendering with some naive points (don't make leaves wave if they cross walls...).
This completely broke the illusion for me too. "Really? NOBODY noticed this or cared to fix it?!" went through my head through the entire intro. :/

really amazing

Very nice soft synth and music. Sweet.

And yes, complex vegetation rendering in combination with simple sine wave movements with clipping issues give an odd impression. Also, the awkward placing of the wind mills. Please fix those problems in the final version. :)

Despite the ugly and garish textures, this is so impressive and shows an immense amount of work and thought.

insane amount of work. Nice concept and execution, could have been pushed further / or would have needed some kind of final punch.

Yeah, I suppose that those obvious mistakes are due to the rush and release stress. Please guys, take your time and polish this beauty up! We'll all love you for that.

Deserved to win. Not entirely polished but still looks very good for the most part. The music is well made to fit into the visuals, and not just randomly composed gibberish as with a lot of productions. The direction overall is great as well, loved the transformation.

Deserved winner!

excellent! But not a fan of the glow ribbons bit, or the grass growing through the bottom of the windmill.

The work put into this demo is evident. It's a really, really astounding 64k. The theme, the music, the visuals -- they're all there.

...But the clipping! Why!?

Nice little world you created in 64k, full of life.

One small problem and it's all the talk.. Bah..

Anyway, just wanted to say that the music is indeed awesome and fits perfectly. It gade me shivers during the compo and created just the right amount of tension in my whole body. Bestest!

A proper final without all those glitches one could get rid of in a couple of hours and you have my thumb.

Thanks for all the great feedback! It was an awesome party!

Damn! I'm really annoyed with the clipping issue on the grass. That is a 5 min fix. Since the music and synth wasn't finished until the party I had to do all the sync and camera movement at the party. So I blame sleeping for only 2 hours in total from friday at 12:00 to sunday at 18:00. And there were a couple of much higher prio bugs that was a real pain to get rid of (we meet again round off-error by /Qifist. BIG mesh glitches that one). I didn't want to repeat Assembly 2009 where we missed the deadline due to similar bugs. So I just handed it in when every major bug was fixed.

But a final version will come up soon. With bug fixes, and some more improvements. I just have to recover a bit from the party :)
