First half was..meeeeeh. Second half was a pure beauty.
I would imagine, the more you remove of the distortion and the other effect-layers, the harder it is to fit crystal clean rendered objects into video-footage and make it look like a unity. The distortion keeps it all together..so to speak.

Quite demos always sucks me right in - where Satori needs one to make the first step towards getting an angle at the prod. This might sound rather odd to compare these two, but both induce the feeling of being at an museum for me. Being shown art, without having the attitude of being artsy at all - it's not telling me I have to see it this way or a another, it let's me decide what it is - and what it isn't.
The previous might sound very meta, however both manage to somehow transport a feeling - which I have yet to sense somewhere else.

The coldness of these absolute glossy surfaces, being destroyed by the most awesome convergence filter since Media Error, and not even to mention the scene with metabals delving into the railing - which really made my mind explode a little.

In the end all that remained was BGR, instead of RGB - intended or not, it made me think a little, then I fetched another coffee and q'd the next Quite demo.

awesomely cool!
I wanna hear the story of how you made it and why it isn't real-time!

missing thumb, sorry ;)
i hate how this ain´t realtime ;) as everything in here can be done realtime. (also in 2011 already)
but it looks fantastic, altho the geometry-blending (others call it the metaballs-scene) went on a bit (not too) long (yet) ;)
maybe you should coop with nosfe if you visit this style again, he knows everything about TEH NOISE!
