hmm... nice models but graphics and design are really ugly. somewhat ok music but wouldn't have deserved the 3rd place.

great with great music

very very nice stuff. I only hated the very badly made idealess monotonic musicsynks.

colorscheme was definately brave, artistic and fresh

is now the time where you can say the bad colors are actually a feature? come on, intel tried that already and it didn't work there..

Echoing MF!'s comment: "Bah....singing"
The FR intros far exceeded the impact (or lack thereof) of this presentation.

my head blew as i saw that marching robot the first time! ;)
the rest is some very well designed and synched bizarre 3d with tons of layers..
but please put some more technically interesting stuff in it next time.. :)

toxie, since the whole demo was done 6 days before and during the party WHILE i was organizing at the party and using the new demosystem for the first time, it´s no surprise that it lacks in several issues, but i´m workin on the final right now trying to improve everything...thanx for the constructive critism everybody!

nice visuals, but the music made me puke. please, no more cheesy eurotrance.

nono lame goa synths and really bad quality & dull highhats..

wtf, this demo fucking rules :D
The robot part is just awesome, and I also loooove the music. I'm looking forward for the final version.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE MUSIC AND THE SINGER SHOULD BE SHOT.
sort-of nice visuals though.

rm (and others who know who they are), for attacking kb like that, you deserve a molten iron rod shoved far up your rectum. (Or maybe you already have something stuck up there?) Amazing how people can tolerate piss-poor code yet scream when a scener actually manages to do vocals. Constructive criticism is fine, but until you can make a better soundsynth or song, take your caps-lock flames somewhere else.

i like it, it reminds me a lot on old sanity demos concerning the design itself. the music was good, i actually only dislike the robot walking. it looks like it has buggy textures or something but maybe thats design :) as usual fiverbrown colors. all in all pretty goooood!

aw, blow it out your ass phoenix.
one doesn't have to be talented in singing to be able to dislike the outcome of someone else doing the vocal chord straining.
besides, this is purely a matter of taste.
also, I'd like to add that my comments are not directed against any individual possibly behind the making of the demos I've commented on. if I've hurt your fragile little egos somewhere along the road, I do apologize.
I'm beginning to feel that one can't critisize anything without having to bear ranting from the direction of other commentators.
I didn't like this prod, and I can't help it. sorry.

hehe, unlike jazz I really loved the part with the robot walking.

neat!
but the singer sounds like some german italodisco artist :)

wierd demo indeed.. but i like it.
  added on the 2002-04-07 15:16:22 by a_lee_n
this was a different experience, i needed quite some seconds to cope with the shock when kb started singing, but afterwards it rocked :D
added on the 2002-04-07 15:33:41 by PigPen
yes!
and for all those people lesser into different styles of electronic music, this is neither goa nor eurotrance, but "electronic body music" or EBM for short. And the track roxx, so I guess a lot of you have misunderstood ;)
(yesyes, taste of music is a personal matter. please, no flames :)
kb: what about letting apoptygma berzerk do a remix of your tune for the final? :o)
  added on the 2002-04-07 17:22:53 by lug00ber
lug00ber: I'd go for VNV Nation instead, Ronan is living in my home town and I think some talks and a few bottles of Whisky will do *g*

Nah, let's see, the track is kind of a "preview" of an upcoming album (whenever i'll finish it... sigh... stupid scene crap taking all the time that my job and gf leave me), and maybe there will be some remixes, who knows...

... anyway, thanks for all the comments, and i know my singing sucks. I realize that every tmie i lsiten to thie song again. But I'll do better next time. Promised. :)

actually; my favourite part of the demo is when the vocals "join" with the melodic part and things really kick off. it sends chills down my spine. just to bad that the party i like lasts for something like 10 seconds. :)

Very nice ! and great music... I could live without the vocals but I don't think they are anoying
