This is the wrong place to post this kind of demo.

I'll be honest, I found this quite interesting but having now found out it was a thinly veiled promotion for commercial software, I'm very disappointed.

It's a trial-version of a commercial product. Remove it.

..and also, remove my wrong-facing thumb. :(

An ad of commercial vj-software with horrible UI.

hi Guys.. I'm sorry... I really wanted to share my production with you all and give you access to a working version. My team and I spent years building this and as a big fan of the demo scene, had to share it with you. You are graphics freaks and make amazing visuals yet I’m also a freak and a bit wild so entered in such a category. I tell people that the demo scene is responsible for all the great advancements in digital graphics. I really believe this. The demo scene inspires me. My intention was to give back, not to insult. I’ve been following the scene for 8 years now and I love what is coming out of it. Breakpoint was my first ever demo party. It was awesome! I’m sorry my demo software was wrongly received and I can see now that it is not fitting to any category. Being at Breakpoint was a good experience. It was great to meet real people really doing it, like myself. You guys are incredible! Keep doing what you are doing! I feel a part of the scene and promise to change my ways. Again I’m sorry.

Dear Optrix,

You really should not. The demoscene is - for the most part, at least - YEARS behind the cutting edge of the real time graphics development curve. Sometimes, we pride ourselves - somewhat ironically maybe - that stuff we see in motion graphics demos or movies and music videos was "invented" or popular in the scene first, but in 90% of all cases that is more or less wishful thinking. :)

It wasn't your fault. The organizers should have declined your entry politely as it is simply not a wild demo in any sense. It is a product demo. Again, not your fault at all. :)

(you should have asked an organizer to show it off as an "out of compo" thing. You get the attention for your software and people don't get pissed at "ad-ware")

it was just boring at the compo

Piggie for being apoletic about it.
I feel VJ stuff is demoscene related though, but not VJ stuff that's commercial.

This software looks slick and very powerful, but the demonstration didn't seem to exploit this. Showing what a tool can do when pushed to the limits would be a rulez. Just showing the tool interface is a sucks. (Unless you're HBC)

Contriteness piggie:
