make a megademo about it !

Why does everyone have to be leet to be valid around here? I'm not a great coder and I'm not a great designer but I do do something other than moan about other people's effort while making none of my own, eh fellas...?

It's a OK prod, just that it doesn't have anything cool that would get me thumbing up BUT either it isn't something that would annoy me like 99% of BITS or Lucid(sorry) demos. So I think piggy is the best way to show that I respect your effort that you have put into this intro but also remind you that it could be a lot better.

i actually like it
i just ment, if you are going to release more of those small demos, put them together to a megademo ;D

cool. I hope you'll release your first megademo

hey plz

Actually a decent one screener.
But I'd suggest you put those, as some kind of a bonus, to bigger productions, say... a real demo (no Megademo for that matter) or a musicdisk, slideshow whatever.

Don't bother about trollish comments on Pouet.
Better goal would be to enter the A.D.A. with your stuff ;)
That would mean to leave the "cracktros" and up the ante to 40/64k party contributions.

I agree, make a megademo! The prod-a-day from Bits came across as a cry for attention.

well, nothing outstanding, but hey, it's not BITS like.

Respect for an effort. Greets from Atari scene.

Instant classic!

I think it's piggy material, but to even up some of the downvotes, here goes :)

Piggy material indeed. I second the megademo idea! That would be a good way to present a number of "experiments" without getting flamed by kiddies about flooding the database. Not that you actually should pace your scene releases based on what users of some website think is appropriate. You'll just make more friends that way :)

Instead of a megademo you could go for such multi-intros demo (several small complete intros with their own music linked/packed together in on big file):

http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=26608

or go the multi parts road (very popular in early 90's before scoopex came with the trackmo concept) not requiring a single hint of design or much gfx/music but needing a bit more advanced code:

It is probably not the best ECS-intro but far away from a thumb down. Like Evil already said, let's compensate some downvotes. Comparing this with BITS is more than stupid.

eih :/

It's very nice :)

### 20100301: police report: Middle Orient convertibles invading the NATO. Please, remove convertibles back to Irak Colonies. ###

Oh my god what's happening!

hitchhikr: good idea. On ZX Spectrum all egademos' parts have their own music/tune (or even several sometimes). Multiloading stuff is better.

Thanks for the ideas and links hitchhikr :-)

Oh and thanks for reminding me about Anarchy's Madness II demo - used to love that one years ago. :-)

I like this one. Just because of the wireframe objects. Retro intros are simple, one screen, one effect with nice music. Maybe a bigger demo with many parts would be better. But I still like em.
